Be Persistent and Unwilling to Compromise

FOR INTRAPERSONAL USE ONLY:

This mantra has many applications, but I would like to simplify it for self. Holding yourself accountable for your mistakes and faults and understanding your flaws will allow you to create a standard for self. Once you can do this, you will have a formal guide to maintain and practice the standard in your life. This principle allowed me to thin my circle and surround myself with like-minded individuals who continue to fill my cup just as I fill theirs.

MAKING RESERVATIONS FOR YOUR VALUES DIMINISHES YOUR VALUE.

Honesty and accountability are the most authentic ways to maintain integrity. We should never compromise on integrity because making reservations about our values diminishes our value. I firmly believe in standing up for values since values endorse integrity. This process has allowed me to be more vocal about my morals, and I think there is value in standing up for our beliefs.

Sometimes, having expectations can be a good thing. I find it necessary to hold the things close to me in my life to a certain standard; this way, there is no variance in any subset of my life. Lifestyle choicesrelationships, and occupations all come under the same scrutiny because everything needs to be concise and linear. This equates to growth.

We must be persistent and steadfast in our efforts to give ourselves purpose and realign with our virtues. How we operate correlates with our principles, and this congruity is salient to achieving our goals. All of this depends on how you decide to hold yourself to a standard regulated by your values. Therefore, be persistent and unwilling to compromise.
